Yes, all our ingredients are sourced from within the EU, ensuring the highest quality standards and minimizing our environmental footprint.

Strict EU compliance: By sourcing exclusively from EU suppliers, we ensure all ingredients comply with stringent EU regulations on pesticide residues and contaminants, including Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 (General Food Law), Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 as amended (MRLs for pesticides), and Regulation (EU) 2023/915 (maximum levels for contaminants). This means every ingredient meets the same high safety standards you expect from European food products.

Our main ingredient origins:
Our oat flour comes primarily from the UK and Finland, providing whole grain nutrition with all the bran, endosperm, and germ intact. The soy flour is processed in The Netherlands using European-grown soybeans. For our vegan proteins, pea protein comes from yellow peas grown and processed in France, while rice protein is processed in The Netherlands.

Supporting local agriculture: The carbohydrates in Queal also come from nearby sources - isomaltulose from German sugar beets, and maltodextrin from corn grown in The Netherlands and Belgium. Our oils are equally local: sunflower oil from France and Spain, and linseed oil from Belgium. Even our custom vitamin and mineral mix is produced in The Netherlands.

This commitment to EU sourcing means shorter transport distances, fresher ingredients, and support for European farmers while maintaining complete traceability and quality control throughout our supply chain. From farm to table, we keep it local, sustainable, and transparent.
